Ownership interest in Physicians Endoscopy Center. Dr. Paul Azad earned his medical degree from The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. He then completed his residency followed by his internship at McGovern Medical School at UT Health and The University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, in Houston. Board certified in gastroenterology and liver diseases. His clinical interests include the diagnosis, screening, and treatment of colon cancer, heartburn, ulcer disease, liver disease, Hepatitis B and C, and advanced endoscopic procedures. Dr. Azad offers a hometown touch combined with cutting- edge medical technology to patients 18 years and older. He has authored several studies and papers that have been published in medical journals such as Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. When Dr. Azad is not working with his patients, he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter.
